Privacy and KVKK notice

Last updated: 24 October 2026

This notice explains how EMN Groupe handles personal data on this website and in the emails you send us. Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) requires it.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is EMN Groupe, Ziya Gökalp Mahallesi, Süleyman Demirel Bulvarı, Mall of İstanbul Office, Ofis No:36, Başakşehir / İstanbul.

For anything about this notice or your data, write to info@emngroupe.com.

What we collect

We collect only what you send us, and the technical details a web server records when it delivers a page or receives the form.

  • Through the contact form: your name, email address, country and preferred language; the subject you choose, your answers to its questions, your message and your timing. Your phone number, company or organisation, and a file, only if you add them. We also keep a record that you ticked the box confirming you have read this notice.
  • By email: what you write to info@emngroupe.com, your email address and any attachments.
  • When you visit: what the web server records when it delivers a page or receives the form, such as your IP address, the time and the page requested.

Please don’t send special categories of personal data, such as health information or religious or philosophical beliefs, or copies of identity documents. We don’t need them to answer you. Please don’t send other people’s personal details either, unless they have agreed.

What stays in your browser

Two items are stored only in your browser. Neither is ever sent to us.

  • Your contact form draft: kept in session storage while you fill in the form, so a failed send or a reload doesn’t lose what you typed. It is deleted when your message is sent or you choose Clear the form, and your browser discards it when the tab’s session ends. A browser that reopens a closed tab may restore the draft too; on a shared computer, delete what you typed before you leave.
  • Your cookie choice: kept in local storage once you make a choice in Cookie settings. The cookie notice explains it.

Why we use it

  • To answer your message, and to follow up your enquiry within the business it concerns: consulting, real estate, or import and export.
  • To take the steps you ask for before a possible agreement with us, such as sending you information.
  • To keep this website working and secure.
  • To meet our legal obligations, and to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim if one arises.

We don’t use these details for marketing, and we don’t sell them.

Our legal grounds

We rely on these grounds in Article 5 of the Law:

  • Answering your message and taking the steps you ask for: Article 5(2)(c), where the processing is directly related to setting up a contract with you. We also rely on Article 5(2)(f): our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our work, including when you write for an organisation. We rely on it only where it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.
  • Passing your details to the people we must involve to do what you asked: Article 8, with Article 5(2)(c) or 5(2)(f).
  • Keeping the website secure through the server’s technical records: Article 5(2)(f).
  • Keeping records that a law requires us to keep: Article 5(2)(ç).
  • Establishing, exercising or defending a legal claim: Article 5(2)(e).

Because these grounds apply, we don’t ask for your explicit consent. The box you tick on the form confirms that you have read this notice.

Who we share it with

Only people who need it to answer you or to do what you ask, or who have a legal right to it:

  • The people at EMN Groupe who handle enquiries, and those who work in the business your enquiry concerns.
  • Owners, developers or their representatives, when you ask us to arrange a viewing.
  • Producers, when you ask us to source goods.
  • Carriers and customs brokers, when you ask us to coordinate a shipment.
  • Other firms in a consortium, when we bid together.
  • The service that receives the contact form for us, and the system where we keep enquiries, acting on our instructions.
  • The service providers who host this website and our email, acting on our instructions.
  • Public authorities and courts, when a law requires it.

Each of them receives only the details they need.

Our email service is Microsoft Exchange Online, which may store data outside Türkiye.

We transfer personal data only as Articles 8 and 9 of the Law allow. Where a service provider stores or processes data outside Türkiye, the transfer is made only as Article 9 allows.

We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.

How we collect it

Electronically: through the contact form and by email when you write to us, and automatically through the web server’s technical records when you visit. We collect it on the legal grounds set out above.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need it to answer your message and follow up your enquiry, and for as long as a law requires. After that, we delete, destroy or anonymise it, as Article 7 of the Law requires.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the Law, you have the right to:

  • learn whether we process personal data about you
  • ask for information about that processing, if we do
  • learn why we process it, and whether we use it for that purpose
  • know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom we have transferred it
  • ask us to correct it if it is incomplete or inaccurate
  • ask us to delete or destroy it, under the conditions in Article 7
  • ask us to tell the third parties we transferred it to about a correction, deletion or destruction
  • object to a result against you that comes only from automated analysis of your data
  • claim compensation if you suffer damage because your data was processed unlawfully

How to use your rights

Send your request in one of these ways:

  • In writing, signed, to our office address above.
  • By email to info@emngroupe.com, from an email address you have already given us and that is on our records.

Include your name and surname, and what you are asking for, with any documents that support it. If you are a Turkish citizen, include your Turkish identity number (T.C. kimlik numarası); if not, your nationality and your passport or identity number. Add your home or work address for our reply, and your email address or phone number if you have one.

We answer free of charge as soon as we can, and within 30 days at the latest. If answering involves a separate cost, we may charge the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board.

You can complain to the Board if we refuse your request, if you find our answer insufficient, or if we don’t answer in time. Do so within 30 days of learning our answer, and in any case within 60 days of your request.

If you write to us from the European Union

If the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to your data, you also have the rights it gives you. They include restricting processing, objecting, receiving your data in a portable format and complaining to the data protection authority where you live. Write to info@emngroupe.com or to our office address above.
